We siddha community is to be ever greatful to our Honorable chief minister of Tamilnadu Kalainger.M.Karunanithi for declaring a separate university for Indian Systems of Medicine .Though we would have expected exclusive siddha university, we arrived to a step as Indian Medicine University.
I would like to make remembrance of history, we siddha graduates were awarded B.I.M before we have been awarded as B.S.MS. Like wise we will certainly reach a exclusive SIDDHA UNIVERSITY in Tamilnadu.
It is a great opportunity to us to strengthen our academic activity by revamping our traditional methods of diagnosis and treatment and to maintain our uniqueness .
